Terms of sale and use
The rules of buying from Yajman, written the way we would say them out loud.
Last updated 27 July 2026
The short version
- Blessings are one-time purchases in US dollars. Nothing renews except the Ritual Calendar membership, and that is not charging anyone yet.
- We tell you when your blessing will arrive, and if we are going to miss that window we email you and you can wait or take a full refund.
- If anything is wrong with what we made, we remake it at no charge. The refund policy sits on its own page and is never narrower than that.
- A blessing is a keepsake of care. We never sell an outcome, no ceremony is performed for your order, and Asha, the voice and face you hear, is digitally produced and is not a real person.
- What you write travels inside your blessing's link. Anyone holding that link can read it.
The summary is here to be useful, not to replace what follows. Where the two ever differ, the numbered sections are what we hold ourselves to.
Who may buy
Yajman is an independent business preparing to open. The legal entity behind it is being registered, and this page will name it, and its address, before the first payment is taken. Reach us at yajmanblessings@gmail.com. By ordering from us you agree to what follows.
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a contract where you live. We sell to individuals and households for personal use. You may give a blessing away, forward it, print it, and share it with your family. You may not resell it, or sell access to it.
Everything on this site is priced and charged in US dollars.
Where things stand today
Yajman is open and taking payment. Payments are handled by Stripe: your card details go to them and never to us, and the sections below bind us from the moment an order is paid for.
The Ritual Calendar membership in section 10 is a waitlist. It is free to join, no card is collected, and no payment is taken for it.
What you are buying
A blessing is a digital keepsake: a private page with a cited prayer on it, personalized with the names and words you give us. Nothing physical ships.
Single blessings are one-time purchases, one per recipient. Written is $7.99 USD, or $12.99 USD with the keepsake art page (a print-ready verse-art file, optional and ticked for you at checkout). Voiced is $24.99 USD. Video is $49.99 USD. The Lamp Row is a Diwali household blessing, two to eight names on one page, $129.00 USD flat. Every occasion is the same price. At checkout you may add the next tier for the exact difference in price, and nothing more. We do not offer that upgrade on memorial or healing orders.
A Family Pack is a fixed-price bundle in a single checkout, in two sizes per format. Written: up to 6 names for $35.00 USD, or up to 12 for $59.00 USD. Written and voiced: up to 6 names for $99.00 USD, or up to 12 for $159.00 USD. The bundle price is the price whether you fill every slot or not: a pack needs at least 2 named recipients, every recipient is named when you pay, and slots you leave blank are simply unused. They are not held for later and are not refunded as credit, because a pack is a set of finished blessings, never stored credit. Memorial and healing blessings are sent one at a time and are not sold in packs.
When it arrives
These are the same windows the shop states, and they run from the moment your payment is confirmed.
A written blessing is delivered by email within the hour, as a private page link.
For a voiced blessing, the written page arrives within the hour and the private audio link follows by email within 24 hours, after a final quality check.
For a video blessing, the written page arrives within the hour and the private video link follows by email within 48 hours, after a final quality check.
If you schedule a gift for a date, we aim to have it finished by that morning, not 24 or 48 hours after it. The delivery email goes out on the morning you chose, which we treat as 9am in the time zone you picked, and the days it waits by design never count against us. If your chosen date falls inside the 24 or 48 hour production window from when you paid, the blessing arrives as soon as it is ready rather than on the morning itself. Your own copy is viewable right away either way.
If we are going to miss one of these windows, we will email you and tell you, and you can either wait or cancel for a full refund.
The keepsake page is yours for good and does not expire. It travels inside its own link, and we keep no copy on a server, so keep the link. If it is lost and your browser is cleared, we may not be able to rebuild the page for you.
What a blessing is, and what it is not
A blessing is a keepsake of care, not a transaction with the divine. Buying one does not change a result, earn favor, or stand in for a ritual performed. We sell care and correctness, never outcomes.
No ceremony is performed on your behalf. Nothing is done in a temple, at an altar, or in your name. Pandit Arvind Narayan Shastri reviewed and blessed the prayer library we draw from, and any new or edited prayer goes back through his review before it ships. His blessing belongs to those words. It is not a service bought with your order, it promises no result, and neither do we.
Every verse is quoted from a named source and arrives with its citation. Some of those sources are scripture and some are documented tradition, and each one says plainly which it is. We personalize the framing around a real verse and never author the verse itself. The recipient's name is set at the head of the prayer as its dedication; the sacred words themselves are never altered.
Asha is our digital host. Her voice and her on-screen presence are produced with AI. She is not a real person and she is not a priest. AI reads the reviewed words aloud and speaks your family's names. It never writes or alters scripture.
The names and words you give us
We set the names exactly as you type them, in the spelling you choose. Please check them before you pay. If we introduce a mistake, we fix it at no charge. If the spelling we were given was wrong, tell us and we will still remake it, but a scheduled delivery may have already gone out.
When you name someone else, or describe them, you are telling us you have the standing to share those details with us and to have them written into a blessing that person may receive. That matters most on healing and memorial blessings, where what you write is about someone else's life. Share only what you are comfortable sharing.
Your words travel inside the blessing's link itself, not behind a password. Anyone holding that link can read what is on the page, including the message you wrote and the gotra if you gave one. Your delivery email address is deliberately left out of the link. When a link is shared in a messaging app, the preview card carries the two names on it to that app. Treat the link like the keepsake it is, and share it with the people you meant to.
To make a voiced or video blessing we send the finished script, which contains the recipient's name and your message, to the AI voice and video tools we use to produce it. Our privacy policy names those tools and what they do with the text.
You keep the right to your own words and we use them only to make, deliver, and support your blessing.
If something is wrong
If a blessing ever falls short of the standard set out on our Proof Standard page, we remake it. If a name is misspelled, a word is out of place, or a recording will not play, reply to your delivery email and we will make it right at no charge.
Our refund policy is set out in full on our Refunds page, and it is never narrower than the remake promise above. Ask us and we will send you a written copy of it.
Acceptable use, and orders we may decline
Order a blessing in the spirit it is offered. Do not use one to mock, harass, threaten, or humiliate anyone. Do not order in someone's name to embarrass them. Do not use a blessing, or our reviewer's name, to imply that a ceremony was performed, that an outcome is assured, or that we endorse a person, product, or claim. Do not copy or scrape our prayer library, translations, or pages for republication or for training a model.
We may decline or cancel an order that would misuse a prayer, and we may refund it rather than make it. This is rare, and we would rather explain the decision than hide behind a policy.
Who owns what
You own your keepsake and your words. The blessing we make for you is yours to keep, print, forward, and share with family, in personal and non-commercial use, for as long as you like.
We keep the rest. The prayer library, the translations and transliterations, the citations and commentary, the site design and copy, and the Yajman name all remain ours. The underlying sacred texts belong to a tradition older than any of us and no one owns them; what we hold is our particular selection, translation, presentation, and production of them.
Asha's voice and on-screen presence are made with AI tools we license from other companies, under their terms. The recordings we publish are ours to give you, and they are not yours to reuse outside your own keepsake.
You give us the limited permission we need to do the job: to use the names, words, and details you supply to produce your blessing, to deliver it, and to serve the page it lives on. Today that page is built from the link you hold, and the only copies are the one in your browser and the working copy on the machine that produced your recording.
The founding membership
Read this section on its own. It is the only part of Yajman that could ever renew.
Right now, nothing is charged. The Ritual Calendar is a waitlist. Joining is free, no card is collected, and no payment is taken. The free date reminders stay free, always, and nothing is ever charged for the Nine Nights challenge. The terms below apply from the day the membership begins accepting payment, and only to people who choose to join it.
Price and term. The founding rate is $59.99 USD per year. The standard rate, once founding closes, is $69.99 USD per year. The term is one year from the day you join. There is no monthly plan, no minimum number of years, and no minimum purchase of anything else.
Renewal. Your membership continues until you cancel it. At the end of each year we charge the card on file for another year, at the rate you are on, without asking again.
Renewal, what the founding rate means. Founding members keep $59.99 USD per year for as long as they remain a member.
Renewal, price changes. Your founding rate does not move while you stay. If any price you actually pay is going to change, we will tell you at least 7 and not more than 30 days before the new price takes effect, in an email you can keep, and that email will say how to cancel.
We will remind you before each renewal. At least 15 and not more than 45 days before your membership renews, we will email you that it is about to renew, what it will cost, and how to cancel.
How to cancel. Cancel online, by yourself, in the same way you joined. There is no phone call, no retention interview, and no form to wait on. You may also send us a pre-written cancellation email, and we will treat the date you send it as the date you cancelled.
When cancelling takes effect. At the end of the term you have already paid for. You keep the calendar, the letters, and the guide until that day, and you are not charged again. We do not charge you for the year ahead once you have cancelled. If a renewal caught you by surprise, tell us, and the Refunds page says what we do about it.
What membership includes. Your household's dates watched and held, a letter before each one, and the year's festival guide. It does not include a discount on blessings. Blessings stay at their normal price for everyone.
Changes
We can change prices, tiers, and these terms. A change never applies backwards to an order already paid for, and never to a membership year already paid for. If we change these terms in a way that matters to you, we will say so on this page and date it. Founding members keep the price they were promised, on the terms of section 10.
What we are responsible for, in plain words
We are responsible for making your blessing correctly and delivering it in the window we stated. If we fail at that, we remake it, or refund it under our refund policy.
We are not responsible for things outside our hands: a mistyped email address, a mail provider that files us as spam, an internet outage, or a recipient who opens the link early.
If we do owe you money for something that went wrong, what we owe is capped at what you paid for the order or the membership year in question. We are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses, such as a moment that could not be repeated. Some places do not allow limits like this, so if your state gives you more, you keep it. Nothing here removes a right you have by law.
Law, and how to reach us
Write to us at yajmanblessings@gmail.com. A person reads it. If something has gone wrong with an order, say so plainly and we will fix it.
Yajman is an independent business preparing to open. The legal entity behind it is being registered, and this page will name it, and its address, before the first payment is taken.
Reaching a person
Write to yajmanblessings@gmail.com about anything on this page. A person reads it, and you will get a real answer rather than a ticket number.
